Our Mission
City of Bridgeport Drugs (CBD) is a team of individuals committed to being leaders in providing quality healthcare to our patients. We do this by forming relationships with our patients through an ethical practice in independent, community pharmacy utilizing effective communication, thereby promoting public health and safety.
Our Vision
We will provide prescription medications for our customers by carefully maintaining, efficiencies in our one store operation. By providing convenient and valuable pharmacist-patient services through our knowledgeable and friendly staff repeat business will strive. Independent, community pharmacy is changing, and we want to be on the forefront of that change through extended services, vaccination, immunizations, testing, medication-therapy-management, coronavirus pandemic and more.

Paige McCanless, PharmD
PharmacistPaige McCanless received her Doctor of Pharmacy degree from Belmont University. She is a native to this area and enjoys serving her hometown with her pharmacy expertise. She has been a pharmacist in this area for several years and has built trusting relationships with her customers. As a healthcare provider, she works closely with local physicians, performing direct patient care to meet the healthcare needs of her customers. She appreciates interacting with people and creating real bonds which assists in providing excellent, individualized services that she would not find in any other pharmacy environment. She will proudly provide outstanding personalized care for you and your family.
Belinda Ballard, RPh
PharmacistBelinda Ballard, RPh, is a graduate from Auburn University, Harrison School of Pharmacy. She is the owner and a pharmacist at City of Bridgeport Drugs. She has been a part of the Jackson County community since graduation from pharmacy school. She has owned and operated three pharmacies in her 40+ years of pharmacy experience in this area. She is extremely excited to open this pharmacy in this rural underserved community. She is a member of several pharmacy organizations and serves as a Zone 11 Chairperson for the Scottsboro Lions club. She is a coordinator for the site assistance program through Jackson County Department of Human Resources. She has a wonderful desire to help people and an awesome passion for pharmacy. These values positively impact her ability in serving her patients with excellent quality of care.
City of Bridgeport Drugs is fortunate to have a PTCB certified technician and several registered technicians with over 35 years of combined experience.
